Lunch at Biaggio's

Today mommy and daddy took the girls out to lunch for spaghetti and Parmesan cheese for Miss Alyssa and spaghetti and meatballs for Miss Madison. The girls were on exceptionally good behavior for the entire meal .. so much so that three women at another table came over to compliment us on how good they were and how beautiful they were ... daddy blushed just a bit ...

How Do You Eat A Chocolate Bunny??

Happy Easter!!

Today the Easter Bunny arrived and the proof was not only baskets of goodies but lots of messy bunny prints going up our steps and right into our home!! The girls seemed more fascinated by the prints than the fact that there was a basket to be found. After basket searching, we all headed over to Grandma and Grandpa B's for the big Easter egg hunt and a family dinner.

Grandma and Grandpa out did themselves yet again this year and lots of candy filled eggs were found and lots of Easter toys including parachute bunnies, chalk, playdoh, bubbles and more!!!

This was the first year that the girls were able to look for eggs on their own ... well with a little guidance in direction and some pretty obvious hiding places! :)

They had fun playing with their cousins and visiting with everyone and are already talking about when the Easter bunny will come again!

Easter Treasure Hunt at Toys R Us

Today we met Aunt Tammy and Christian for lunch and some indoor play fun at the local Burger King. After a bit of encouragement we managed to get all three kiddos up into the climber and then they were off and having fun. After playing for a while, we settled down for some lunch before heading over to Toys R Us for their big Easter Treasure Hunt inside the store.

The kids all received their treasure maps and need to read the clues and then figure out which cartoon characters were were looking for. Once we located each character, the kids needed to take a character sticker and place it on their treasure map to show they had been there. Once their map was full with three character stickers (Dora, Wonder Pets and Sponge Bob), they were to return to the reward station to show their successful maps.

The girls and Christian proudly displayed their full treasure maps and were given goodie bags with lollipops, markers, playdoh and some character coloring pages.

Mommy and Tammy did a little shopping for some bicycle accessories while the kids enjoyed their lollipops ... until Alyssa dropped hers on the floor and it shattered. Off mommy ran to the treasure station to request another lollipop and all was well ... until she did it again ... hard lesson learned we guess because mommy didn't go get a third one!
