Daddy's Little Girls

Well, daddy returned home today (1:30 a.m.), so he was asleep when I got the girls up this morning. They were more than a little bit surprised to see him coming down the stairs just in time to go on our morning walk all together! Daddy was gone for four days this time ... which seemed incredibly long after having him home on vacation for two weeks while Farmor was visiting. That is the longest daddy has ever spent at home other than when the girls were first born!!

At any rate, I bet looking at these pictures that were taken after our walk, no one could ever tell that they missed and love their daddy could they??

We LOVE our Bunnies ...

Lord help mommy if anything EVER happens to these security blankets ... We have one spare that we found on E-Bay, but we haven't been able to come with a second after almost one year or searching and numerous calls to manufacturers and distributors. Take my advice mommy's ... always buy two of the same extra security blankets so you have a back up ... in my case ... four ... keep your fingers crossed for me that we find a second back up as these bunnies are truly loved and getting very worn ...

Last Day of Summer School

Today was the girls last day of Summer Session at ECFE (Early Childhood Education Classes). The girls had fun and will really miss the weekly class, but we will be ready to start up again this fall when school starts again!

And yes, to those of you who know me personally, my hair has turned that wavy/curly since giving birth to the girls. Normally I straighten it, but that day I thought I would attempt to embrace my new wavy hair ... nice huh??!!??

It's A Pool Party!!

Today mommy, daddy and the girls attended a pool party hosted by Christian and his cousin Amy. We had lots of fun enjoying the afternoon sun!! The girls played in the sandbox, went swimming in the pool, ran through the sprinkler, splashed around with the garden hose and just all around had fun.

Oh yeah and daddy gave mommy a new camera last night (Nikon D80 35 mm digital camera) and boy did she take a lot of pictures (like 200+ ) trying it out all day (and you all thought I took many pictures before ... look out)!!!

Bye-Bye Farmor ... We Love You!!

Well, sadly, our Farmor just left a few hours ago for the airport. We had a wonderful visit with her, but wish she could have stayed longer. We are already looking forward to her next visit!

Como Zoo

Today we took Farmor and the girls to the Como Zoo. We had a great day and the girls thoroughly enjoyed the giraffes, seals and especially the polar bear taking a swim!

After exploring the zoo, we stopped by "Como Town" for a few rides before heading out to lunch. They really enjoyed all the rides, but especially like the "cars":

Chillin' In the Pool

Calamari Anyone???

Yes, that is calamari in Miss Madison's mouth and yes, she LIKED it!! Enough so that she even asked for seconds!! Gotta love how she is willing to try everything, I just wish that her sister would be half as adventurous ... maybe some day.

Anyway, we had lunch out with Farmor today at Maynard's in Excelsior. It was a very nice day out and we enjoyed our lunch on their patio.

After lunch, we walked with the girls on the docks to check out a couple of boats and even feed a few ducks and a couple very large carp!

We have been enjoying our visit with Farmor very much and tomorrow we just plan to rest a bit before the big trip to the zoo on Thursday, Christian might even decide to join us for the fun.

Move Over Beethoven!!

On Father's Day at Grandma and Grandpa B's house, the girls decided to try out their musical talents for everyone ... they may not be as talented as Beethoven, but they sure are cute!

Granny M, Grandma & Grandpa B & Farmor!

Today the girls, Grandma B and I went to the nursing home to visit Granny M where she is recuperating from her knee replacement. She is continuing to do well and enjoyed the visit with the girls. The girls had fun pushing Granny's walker up and down the hallway and taking a few rides in her wheelchair while we were there. They even became fascinated by a fake bird in a cage in the visitors room and kept trying to feed and water it!

After our visit with Granny M, we went back home where we then spent the day with Grandma & Grandpa B and Farmor!! It is always a good day when you get to see four of your six Grandparents in one day!!

Playing at EPC Mall

The girls had fun playing at the soft play area in the mall while Farmor and daddy went shopping at a few stores today. We topped the day off with an early supper at Biaggi's which was a lot of fun. We even got the busboy laughing at us while mommy, daddy, Farmor and the girls all danced to the music at our table while having desserts! Here a few pictures from the play area:
